Agriculture Mechanics class, concrete/masonry unit poured a 30'x50' concrete slab. We formed it up last fall and ran out of weather so we had to get it done this spring. The plans are to be used for a pickle court. A special thanks to Jon Harter and Norm Fries for helping out this day, it was nice to have them help guide the 23 students in class. I was hoping to get more pics, but my hands were full of cement. Lol

Learning to do, doing to learn, earning to live and living to serve.
Today was FINALLY our day to release our Beautiful Butterflies!!!YaY!!! As part of our new Science Curriculum, Twig Science offered our Third Graders the experience of learning about the Life Cycle of the Butterfly and actually housing them within our classroom!!! We watched them begin their life as a caterpillar and change into a beautiful butterfly!!! Watching this entire process was so incredible and the Third Graders enjoyed every bit of it!!!

Our Storybook Land adventure was tons of fun, the bus ride, picnic and park adventures are done. We had tooth loss, belly giggles, and safety along the way, we were only missing Mrs. Wachter on this fun filled day. We are grateful for Mrs. Fettig as we wind down the year only six more days to this kindergarten year. I'm sure going to miss this smiley crew but our summers are always filled with so much to do.

Agriculture Mechanics class learning some plumbing skills this past winter. Students plumbed a gas pipeline to 10 welding bays using black steel pipe. Each student made a Sewer skewer by soldering copper pipe, tree waterers out of pex pipe and sprinklers from PVC pipe. Students projects will be displayed at Kidder County Fair and at the state fair in Minot. Special thanks to Metal and Earth industries for donating the PVC supplies.
