Wolves Week Ahead!

A little End of the Week Math Review on Rounding Numbers to the Tens and Hundreds for our KC Third Graders, as they partnered up and played a game of "Scoot!" These kiddos did an AMAZING job!!!

Today was a good day to Learn and Grow in Third Grade!!! The Third Graders were given a Cardboard Square, Straws, Popsicle Sticks,Tape, and a Scissors to create a "Free-Standing" APPLE PLATFORM!!!
The kids worked hard to come up with a creative plan and design, and tested the strength of their platform to see if it met the challenge!!!
It was a super-fun way to spend time with friends and end a great week at school!!!

Good morning. With another school year upon us, I wanted to remind parents that all of our exterior doors lock automatically at 8:30 AM, EXCEPT the central office door (Darci’s office) by the flag pole. Please let your children know (especially elementary aged children) that if they arrive to school after 8:30 AM, the only way to get into the building is to come to the central office doors, where we will then buzz them into the office or the school. Thank you.

This year we have 25 juniors that will be attending our Washington DC educational trip (formerly called Close Up). We will be going next April. The students will each earn enough money to fund their trip. If anyone would like to provide funding opportunities for these students, please contact the school.
They would like to thank Paul Subart and Neil Fanta for donating sweet corn that the students picked and sold last week for a fundraiser, it was greatly appreciated.

As we begin a new season of North Dakota High School Activity Association sponsored events, we want to remind everyone to continue to show great sportsmanship at all events. The NDHSAA adopted a new spectator ejection policy that went into effect for the 2024-2025 school year.
The policy reads as such:
Any attendee ejected from a regular season or NDHSAA tournament contest will incur a minimum (3) game/event suspension from that team’s games/events and all other NDHSAA games/events in the interim at any level of competition. If the ejection occurs with fewer than (3) games/events remaining in the team’s season, the suspension will carry over to the school’s sports season which immediately follows.
An attendee ejected for a second time during a school year shall be suspended for a minimum of (1) calendar year from all NDHSAA regular and postseason events.

The Third Graders first "FUN with FRIENDS "on Friday was a huge success and a great way for all of these amazing kiddos to learn and Grow!!!
This STEM Challenge taught them to communicate, find their strengths, work as a team, and to "think outside of the box " while creating the LONGEST PAPER CHAIN using 5 sheets of construction paper, tape, and a scissors!!!
It was a good day with lots of memories made!!!
