The Kidder County School District is accepting applications for a full-time para-professional, starting in the 2024 – 2025 school year. A portion of the position will focus on medical knowledge and medicine dispersion, so a medical background is desirable. Very competitive salary and benefits. Reminder that all student-athletes entering grades 4th-12th for the 2024-2025 school year will need their annual physical turned in prior to beginning any school sport. Contact Four Seasons Wellness to set up your local appointment.
The Kidder County FFA attended the 95th State Convention from June 3rd through June 6th in Fargo, ND. We had 9 members go and compete in many different events. On Tuesday, Gage Craven participated in Dairy Cattle Evolution, Maya Almer took bronze in Dairy Cattle Handling. Shawna Nix participated in Food Science & Technology and Maya took bronze. Abby Keily took silver and Eljah Svanes participated in Farm & Agribusiness Management. On Wednesday, our Environmental & Natural Resources which included Donaven Martin with Shawna Nix bronze, Alea Kramlich bronze and Gage silver. Brody Schoenhard competed in Basic Ag Mechanics and took silver. Elijah Svanes did the Milk Quality & Products and he brought home bronze. The last event was Floriculture with Micah Wooten-Gamel and Abby Keily took bronze.

Congratulations to Bryce Larson for beating the school shot put record with a throw of 45' 0". The previous record was set by Lee Selland in 1954.
Congratulations to Brody Schoenhard for placing 2nd place and Gold ribbon in Basic(9th grade) Ag Mechanics and technology at the District 6 FFA Ag Mechanics contest. The contest was held in Edgeley.
