Good evening, this is Mr. Diegel from the Kidder County School.. Under order from Gov. Doug Burgum, there will be NO SCHOOL from Mon., March 16 through Fri., March 20 due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). More information will be sent out tomorrow as we work through this.

The state scholastic chess tournament at Shiloh Christian on March 14th has been cancelled at this time. Mr. Woodbury will be in contact if there is any rescheduling at a later date.

North Dakota Author Kat Socks is coming to STEELE!!!
Come and meet the award-winning author of the "Pickles the Dog" books. She will be visiting with students during the day and then she will be available to visit with families/community members from 3:30-4:30 at the Kidder County School Library. Geometry students have been working on Trigonometry. Here students are working on a scavenger hunt to practice using properties of special right triangles to solve for a variable.



Reading Month is well under way; grades K-6 are in full swing with the family novel "A Boy Called Bat"--from yesterday and tonight, please read with your family the first two chapters (p. 1-11). Minutes can be used for the Larks and CREA reading contest. Happy Reading!
