Student-Athletes: Please call or come into main office to sign up for Fall sports.
V/JV Girls Golf: Girls entering grades 7-12 begins August 2
JV/V Football: entering grades 9-12 begins August 5 at 7:30am
Elementary Football: entering grades 5-6 begins August 9 at 4:00pm, JH Football: entering grades 7-8 begins August 9
V/JV/JH Volleyball: entering grades 7-12 begins August 16
Elementary Girls Basketball: girls entering grades 5-6 begins August 23, All schedules can be found at this link: https://tinyurl.com/rybncfrx, Also, a reminder that all student-athletes entering grades 5-12 MUST have a Physical completed and turned in to the main office prior to practicing.
Kidder County School District has the following coaching openings for the 2021-2022 school year. Any interested applicants should send a letter of interest and resume to Activities Director Ryan Larson via email or mail to ryan.larson@kcschools.org or to the school at 101 4th St. SE, PO Box 380, Steele, ND 58482. Educational teaching/coaching experience preferred. Positions will be available until filled.

The Track and Field Camp held in Fessenden on Wednesday and Thursday July 14-15 has been canceled.

The Kidder County School District is accepting applications for a full time special education para-professional, starting at the beginning of the 2021 – 2022 school term. Watermelon was the theme for Story Hour today. We read some fun stories, made a watermelon craft, watched a video of a watermelon growing, and sang a watermelon song.
KC Summer School Marketplace. All profits are being donated to the KC Swimming Pool.
Kidder County Summer School is Putting on a Marketplace
Kidder County Summer School students are going to be selling goods and services in front of the elementary school in Steele on Thursday, June 17th from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. All the profits are going towards the Kidder County Pool for the pool’s upcoming needs.

Wolves fans, come out and help send off the Wilton-Wing-KC Girls Fast Pitch Softball Team as they leave for the State Tournament in Jamestown tomorrow morning! The Wilton Bus will pick up our girls in front of the school around 10:00am and they will be escorted out of Steele. Good luck!

Boys 4x100 relay - 5th with a time of 45.04
Jonah Harter - 8th in High Jump
Kennedy Harter - State Champion in Triple Jump with a jump of 36’ 11.5”! & 5th in Long Jump.
Payton Cauthon - State Champion in Triple Jump with a jump of 43’ 11.5”! 5th in the 100 m dash, & 6th in the 200 m dash.

Payton Cauthon qualified for finals in the 100 (tied for best time going into finals tomorrow at 10.97) and 200.
Boys 4x100 of Jonah Harter, John Wagner, Jacob Biegler, & Payton Cauthon qualified for finals with their best time of the year at 45.10 (5th best time going into finals).
Events on Saturday include, Triple Jump (boys & girls), High Jump, 100, 200 & 4x100 meter relay. Come out and support these great kids or watch on the NFHS network!
