The Third Graders ended a short, yet super busy week with some fun…a “Dissolving Candy Corn Challenge “!!!
We predicted, we observed, we took notes, and we may have even eaten just a few pieces of Candy Corn!!!😉
Congratulations to all of our AMAZING Third Graders on doing an OUTSTANDING job of Presenting their Weather reports to the class!!! We are so PROUD of each and every one of you!!!
The Third Graders worked so very hard at gathering information and creating a “Weather” Presentation using Google slides on their chrome books. Each group created a presentation to share with the class on Thunderstorms, Tornadoes, Blizzards, or Hurricanes.

Congratulations to our 4th-12th grade athletes on raising $2,840 for our KC Coaches Club Beef Jerky Fundraiser!
5th graders used LEGO bricks to make their visualizations come to life in our “Number the Stars” book club.
The 6th graders are creating 3D animal mash-ups in science as we learn about the scientific classification of animals.
Our Christmas Wreath fundraiser is under way to help our students fund their Washington DC trip! Tonight, October 12th, the Kidder County Volleyball Team is hosting a silent auction fundraiser during our volleyball game against South Border. All of the proceeds from this silent auction will go towards a member of our community that is affected by cancer. Please come support and cheer on our volleyball team tonight, and bid on an item donated by local businesses and families. The silent auction will be held until the end of the first set in the varsity game.

Hello! It is that time of year again—the Fall Scholastic Book Fair is right around the corner! This year’s theme is ‘Race to a Good Book!’ The fair will run October 18th, 19th, 20th, 25th, 26th 27th and 28th. The 28th is Parent/Teacher Conferences so you will have the opportunity to come and check out the fantastic selection with your child(ren) from 3:30-9 pm. Every book purchased helps our school library. Your child will have an assigned time to come and look over the books. I will also be in the library from 8-8:25 am each morning and from 3:30-3:45 pm each afternoon. I encourage you to take advantage of these great deals, especially if you need some gift ideas.
