The Titanic has sunk again! Using only aluminum foil, a maximum of ten ping pong balls, and two snack-size baggies, the fifth graders built some awesome cargo ships. The leading ship held a record 1,317 pennies!!

On Thursday, October 6th, Breanah Pfaff broke the school record of most assists in a match AGAIN this season! She previously broke the record on September 22nd with 49 assists. The new school record is now 53 assists in a match. Congrats Breanah, we are so proud!

Kindy STEM Challenge: After listening to the story Pete the Cat: Five Little Pumpkins the kids worked together to build a gate using only clothes pins and popsicle sticks. Their goal was to balance 5 mini pumpkins on their gate. The kids demonstrated resiliency and communication with their partner.

The elementary students gathered for their monthly assembly on Tuesday. It was a fun experience as students and staff were asked about patience as well as practice patience in a sweet activity.

6th grade Alpha Wolves led the assembly which focused on patience.
Participants were challenged to use their patience while unwrapping a ball with winter gloves.
Two students won some KCS socks!
