The KC Wolves lady golfers had a busy week attending three tournaments. They traveled to Napoleon, Lisbon, and Forman. The ladies finished with Keyona receiving 7th Place at Napoleon and 4th Place at Lisbon and Cianna receiving 8th Place at Lisbon and 6th Place at Forman, both in the JV division.


The KC golfers had their first tournament in Ashley on Friday. Congratulations to Keyona for placing 6th in the JV division.

Wolves Week August 12th


Reminder to our KC Wolves Families that we'll hold an Open House for our PK, K and New Elementary students on Tuesday, August 13th in the main gym from 6:30-7:00pm. Students in PK & K can bring supplies and will head to their room visits at 7pm. The JH (6th, 7th, & 8th) grade Open House will begin in the gym at 7:00pm. Parents and students are encouraged to come. See you then!

The Kidder County school team is learning about AI and ChatGPT and how to use it effectively in education.



Reminder to parents that athletes must have their Physicals turned into main office prior to beginning practice. 4th-12th grade FB begins this Thursday, and 7th-12th VB & 5th-6th GBB begins 8/19 . Parents are also required to complete the Athletics Participation Required Presentation and Consent at the following link: https://tinyurl.com/4vay293h and have activity fees paid. KC FFA Officer Retreat was hosted by Absolute Studios in Fargo, ND. They allowed us to take over their meeting area and green room to plan out our year and make some individual and team goals. We also had some fun activities for team bonding.

Congratulations to Brody Schoenhard on his 1285 lb steer in the FFA Division at the Kidder county fair. He received a blue ribbon and Grand Champion Ribbon.

The Kidder County School District is accepting applications for a full-time para-professional, starting in the 2024 – 2025 school year. A portion of the position will focus on medical knowledge and medicine dispersion, so a medical background is desirable. Very competitive salary and benefits. Reminder that all student-athletes entering grades 4th-12th for the 2024-2025 school year will need their annual physical turned in prior to beginning any school sport. Contact Four Seasons Wellness to set up your local appointment.

The Kidder County FFA attended the 95th State Convention from June 3rd through June 6th in Fargo, ND. We had 9 members go and compete in many different events. On Tuesday, Gage Craven participated in Dairy Cattle Evolution, Maya Almer took bronze in Dairy Cattle Handling. Shawna Nix participated in Food Science & Technology and Maya took bronze. Abby Keily took silver and Eljah Svanes participated in Farm & Agribusiness Management. On Wednesday, our Environmental & Natural Resources which included Donaven Martin with Shawna Nix bronze, Alea Kramlich bronze and Gage silver. Brody Schoenhard competed in Basic Ag Mechanics and took silver. Elijah Svanes did the Milk Quality & Products and he brought home bronze. The last event was Floriculture with Micah Wooten-Gamel and Abby Keily took bronze.
