Wolves Week!
The Third Graders enjoyed their time together during our "Fun with Friends" taking part in a super-fun STEM challenge. The kids constructed "Gliders" by using straws, strips of construction paper, and tape. The challenge was to see if they could make their "Gliders" fly...and fly they did!!!
The Third Graders constructed the BEST "Gliders" and we managed to make some of the BEST memories!!!

Thank you to Mrs. Lawler for visiting with the third graders and sharing her presentation "Taste it, Don't waste it"!!! We always learn so much!!!
It was a FANTASTIC "Fun with Friends" as the third graders were able to work with oil pastels to create some AMAZING Apple Art!!!

The Scholastic Book Fair is coming!! Mark your calendars for Oct. 13, 14, 15 (P/T conferences), 20, 21 and 22. Hours will be from 8-8:25 am and 3:30-4 pm each day of the fair with extended hours on the 15th. At this time, there will be no spring book fair so make sure you come on out to take advantage of some great books and fun novelties!
Wolves Match Day!
KCS Elementary would like to invite the "Grand" in your students life to join us for Goodies with Grands. A small snack as well as coffee will be offered. Students and their grand will enjoy some reading too! We hope to see you there!
When: Monday, September 29th from 8:30-9:00
Where: KCS Elementary
Why: To Celebrate Grandparents Day (September 7th) as well as all the "Grands" in our world!
The Kindy Kids had a fun afternoon meeting their Golden Manor buddies! They laughed, visited, and worked together to create a fall wreath for the Golden Manor.
