Winning spoons focus group!
Our high school geography class has been studying the cultures of Australia and New Zealand. To dive deeper into this study we snacked on Vegemite toast, Tim Tams, and kangaroo jerky. We learned that Vegemite might be an acquired taste.

On Tuesday a group of Kidder County Juniors attended the Sanford Health Careers Fair at the BSC campus. They had an opportunity to explore many different health related occupations and even try some hands on activities. The students also had access to many different ND college representatives from colleges that offer degrees in these areas.

Today several of our KC Wolves worked with the ND Department of Transportation on their Vision Zero Project to end distracted driving. In the coming weeks we will post the PSAs they recorded. Vision Zero. Zero fatalities. Zero excuses.

The Juniors are winding up their Chemical Reactions unit. They have been doing lab work for 2 weeks. This is a forensic type of lab where they have to identify 11 unknown white substances by Chemical and Physical properties.
