Homecoming Parade Marching Band

On Friday, September 12, Kidder County School held a homecoming parade for the Wolves’ football game that night. Classes from grades 6-12 put together floats to keep spirits high for the game later, accompanied by the community police, emergency services, local businesses, the Alpha wolves, the homecoming court, and the elementary soccer coaches. The parade route stretched from the school to the Golden Manor.

The high school and middle school marching band played the school’s anthem just behind the first responders near the front of the parade. Mr. Boechler, Kidder County band and choir director, led the band.

“I like the homecoming parade,” Boechler said, “I love listening to the band play. That's why I like the parade. I like seeing the classes come together to create the floats.”

The school’s next big event will be the first semester's parent-teacher conferences, which are scheduled to happen on October 21 before a long weekend.
