Girls golf has really exceeded this year. Some players shared some good advice and their thoughts about golf.
Sophomore Aubrey Simpson shared how she keeps the team positive when the courses get hard.
“By saying that we we're not all perfect and were all trying our best," Simpson said.
She said that her season has gone really well so far and that she's been improving more.
“My favorite part about golf is playing the course and the practices,” Simpson said.
Sophomore Layla Fricke shared how she would cheer up the players when the cores is hard
“I would cheer them up in situations and use positive words," Fricke said.
She said her season has gone really well because she won her first medal.
“My favorite part of golf is the ride to tournaments and getting out of school early,” Fricke said.
Finally some questions for the Coach Miranda Nelson. She answered some of the same questions but not all. She shared how she helps the players stay positive when the course is hard.
“I help players by demonstrating how I stay positive and hope they will stay positive," Coach Nelson said.
She said that she became a golf coach because she's always loved golf and wanted to show kids that golf is fun.
“My favorite part of golf is watching the players find success," Coach Nelson said.
Some of golf's upcoming events include next Tuesday, September 8th in Carrington and Monday, September 14 in Carrington.
